Eat Local, Eat Fresh
Although the climate makes produce seasonable, local farmers grow fresh and organic produce year-round. In the Spring there are fresh peas, tender lettuces and tomatoes, Summer – blueberries, strawberries, blackberries, raspberries and corn, Fall – pumpkins, butternut, acorn, spaghetti and buttercup squash, and Winter – potatoes, turnips and root vegetables.
Beyond produce, our food partners are organic farmers, ravioli makers, beekeepers, jam and jelly canners, bread bakers, brewers and vintners. Their products are available in the market everyday
When you want to take a little bit of Maine home with you, let us help you create a gift basket with your favorite wine, cheese, blueberry jams and preserves, root beer, honey, fresh roasted coffee, barbeque sauce, salsa, fresh pasta, bread and locally brewed beer.
